snow snow snow!!! and a dinner replacement!

hey guys,

sorry that we had to cancel tonight but I hope that everyone is enjoying there fun in the snow!!!

Sunday after the morning service we will have the dinner and a SUPER LEGIT Christmas party at the church to replace the canceled event!

Also, think on this in light of the snow:

Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost parts. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:6-7

change of plans

Tonight's progressive dinner and tanglewood trip has been changed due to weather. We will do the whole dinner at Trish Bryan's house to cut down on driving, and there will be no sleepover for the girls. We will eat, hang out, play games, and have fun. Still be at the church at 5:30...COST IS NOW FREE!

Isn't it amazing that God loves us and takes care of us! God loves us so much and desires for us to love him in return; he defends us and protects in our times of need; and he even provides for us when we need him too. Remember: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

The other day I was watching the Florida Gators play Alabama and noticed that Tim Tebow (the Gators' Quarterback) had the reference to that verse written under his eyes and it reminded me how much of an influence we can be to the world around us just by sharing our faith through our actions. What little things can you do to share the gospel to the people around you?

DEC 18 Dinner/Tanglewood

PROGRESSIVE DINNER AND THE FESTIVAL LIGHTS!!!!

On Friday Dec. 18 we will meet at SMBC at 5:30 and depart to begin our progressive dinner and trip to the festival of lights! Cost is $4 per person and parents are more then welcome to join! So far Trish and Charlie Bryan are the only ones to commit their home so we are still in need of two more homes for the progressive dinner, so (parents) if you can or know someone who can volunteer then please let me know asap; otherwise we will not have this event! After the dinner is finished we will journey to Tanglewood to view the Christmas lights!

Schedule

remember cost $4 (food, gas, admission)

5:30 - meet at SMBC

5:45 - Home #1 - Appetizers

6:15 - leave for Home #2 - Entree

7:00 leave for Home #3 - Dessert

7:40 - leave for Tanglewood!

?10:00 to 11:00? - Return (depends on lines and traffic)

Please please please help us find more homes! If parents don't help then we don't have an event :(
